Vine and Voice is dedicated to helping ag and business-friendly candidates get elected in Sonoma County and beyond.
The idea for Vine and Voice came from our founder’s experience serving on local endorsement boards, where she noticed many well-intentioned candidates struggled to effectively communicate their message.
GinaLisa now helps candidates clarify their vision, tailor their platform to the community, and confidently present themselves on the campaign trail and provide the tools they need to win—and to lead.
Meet GinaLisa
GinaLisa Tamayo, M.S. is the founder and principal of Vine and Voice, a public affairs consulting firm supporting ag and business-friendly candidates. She is the only Latina political consultant operating in Sonoma County. With over a decade of experience in strategic communications, government relations, and media, GinaLisa brings a deep understanding of how to navigate political landscapes and deliver messages that resonate with voters, stakeholders, and decision-makers.
GinaLisa currently serves as Director of Government Relations at one of the largest wine companies in the nation, where she leads engagement efforts with local, state, and federal officials. She holds a Master of Science in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations from Purdue University’s Brian Lamb School of Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in News Media from the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California.
A lifelong advocate for representation and equity, GinaLisa’s passion for civic engagement began at age 13, when she challenged negative media portrayals of the Latino community in her hometown. This early experience ignited a career rooted in giving voice to underrepresented perspectives—first as a journalist, then as a government relations professional, and now as a political consultant. She has reported on campaigns and public policy at all levels of government, including a formative stint at the White House documenting the Executive Office of the President.
At Vine and Voice, GinaLisa blends her media savvy, political insight, and strategic thinking to empower candidates who support agriculture, business, and local values—so they can lead with clarity, connection, and purpose.
